"Taiko Rhythms"

Ensemble "Renaissance percussion" was created in 2005. It consists of artists percussion group of the Mariinsky Theatre. In 2005 the ensemble began its concert activity at home and abroad markets, and I won the prize at the International Competition Ensembles. SV Rachmaninov in St. Petersburg. Seven years later, in 2012, the band again won first prize in the same competition. Today, the ensemble's repertoire includes works of different eras and styles. The priority for the ensemble is the performance of music by Russian and foreign classics arranged for melodic percussion instruments created by the members of the ensemble by Vladislav Ivanov and Arseny Shuplyakovym.
