One-act ballet to music composed by Petr Tchaikovsky and arranged by Philip Gammon, traditional Russian music arranged by Sarah Freestone

Choreography by Sir Kenneth MacMillan. Costumes designed by Peter Farmer

It was first presented in London in 1991. The Russian premiere was taken place in Perm in 2014. Running time: 50 minutes

Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Winter Dreams, inspired by Chekhov’s play Three Sisters, to music from different works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky is a beautiful embodiment of melancholy through the medium of choreography.

The ballet is staged in collaboration with the Kenneth MacMillan Foundation in accordance with MacMillan’s style and technique

Choreography by Frederick Ashton 
Set and Costumes designer: William Chappell Staged by Julie Lincoln

The ballet is staged in collaboration with the Frederick Ashton Foundation in accordance with Ashton’s style and technique
