Ekaterina Borchenko

Dancer

Born in Leningrad in 1982. Graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet.
In 2000-2003, was principal dancer of the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre.
In 2003-2007, was principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belorussia, Minsk.
Joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet in 2008.

First prize at the all Japan ballet competition in Nagoya in 2007, silver medal at the International Ballet Competition in Varna in 2006, diploma of the X Moscow International Ballet Competition;
The premium of the Petersburg Government “The Youth Prize of St Petersburg for Creativity”
