Born in Chelyabinsk. After graduating from the Odessa State Nezhdanova Conservatoire in 1996 he was invited to join the Chelyabinsk State Glinka Theatre of Opera and Ballet where he performed the roles of Ruslan (Ruslan and Lyudmila), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro), Dulcamara (L’elisir d’amore) and Ferrando (Il trovatore).
Joined the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 1999.
Soloist with the St Petersburg Concert chamber philharmonic from 2001.
Guest soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre since 2009.
