Born in Baku. Graduated from the Baku Gadzhibekov Academy of Music
in 2001.
Soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers
since 2001. Made his Mariinsky Theatre debut the same year as
Spinelloccio in the premiere of Pucciniґs Gianni Schicchi.

In June 2006 Timur
Abdikeyev gave a solo recital with Russian pianist Yuri Rozum
at the Baku State Philharmonic Hall.
At the Mariinsky Theatre Timur Abdikeyev has performed with such renowned artists as Feruccio Furlanetto, Nikolai Putilin, Olga Borodina, Anna Netrebko, Vasily Gerello and Viktor Chernomortsev and with conductors including Valery Gergiev, Gianandrea Noseda, Keri-Lynn Wilson and Boris Gruzin.
