Vladislav Kupriyanov

Baritone

Vladislav Kupriyanov was born in Perm in 1993. In 2016, he graduated from the Perm State Institute of Art and Culture. From 2014 to 2016, Kupriyanov was a soloist with the Samara Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. He has interned at the Crescendo Summer Institute in Hungary. Kupriyanov has toured Germany and Hungary. He has also taken part in Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg festival (Germany).

Kupriyanov is a recipient of the Russian President’s prize (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013), and the prize Young Talents of Russia(2012, 2015). He was a prize-winner at the International Singing Competition Bella voce in Moscow (2012), the AcademiaInternational Singing Competition in Perm (2014), and the Youth Delphic Games of Russia in Moscow (Gold Medal, 2012, 2013).

The singer’s repertory includes the roles of Onegin (Eugene Onegin), Eletsky and Tomsky (The Queen of Spades), Igor (Prince Igor), Shchelkalov (Boris Godunov), Mizgir (The Snow Maiden), Gryaznoy (The Tsar’s Bride), Robert (Iolanta), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Valentin (Faust), Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Escamillo (Carmen), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), and Marcello (La bohème).

Kupriyanov has been a fellow of the Atkins Young Artists Program at the Mariinsky Theatre since 2017. He made his Mariinsky Theatre debut as Grigory Gryaznoy in The Tsar’s Bride.
