Ekaterina Egorova

Mezzo soprano
Born in Khabarovsk, in 2003 she graduated from the Leningrad State Conservatory (class of professor Galina Yakovleva). During her student years she sang the roles of Marta (Iolanta) and Lyubasha (The Tsar’s Bride) at the Conservatory Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 2003, she joined the Mikhailovsky Opera Company. She participated in numerous opera festivals in Riga (2008), Syktyvkar (2008), in the Chaliapin Festival in Kazan (2007, 2010, 2011, and 2012). She’s a guest soloist with the Latvian National Opera and the Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre.
