Biography
Maria Makarenko was born in Leningrad (Saint-Petersburg).
In 1994 she graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy and was invited to the troupe of The Mariinsky theatre.
Since 2000 she has performed as a soloist of ballet of the Hermitage theatre and The Palace Theatre (Theatre of Musical comedy).
She has toured in The United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, France, Australia, Brazil, Estonia, Japan and others.
