Honoured Artist of Russia.
Graduated from the Leningrad State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 1974 (class of Professor G. Kovaleva).
Joined the Mariinsky Theatre in 1990.
Her repertoire includes more twenty roles, among them:

Susanna (Khovanshchina),
Larina (Eugene Onegin),
Pauline, Blanche, An Oridinary Lady (The Gambler),
Fata Morgana (The Love for Three Oranges),

Giovanna (Rigoletto),
Zita (Gianni Schicchi),
Micaela (Carmen),
Marselina (Le nozze di Figaro),
Brangane (Tristan und Isolde),
Fricka (Das Rheingol, Die Walkure),
Herodias (Salome),
Grandmother Buryja (Jenufa).
Has toured with the Mariinsky Theatre to France, Japan, Germany, Italy, Finland, Israel, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, the UK (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden).
