Artyom Melikhov

Artyom Melikhov graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. Soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre Chorus since 2004. A soloist in The Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra. In 2008 as part of the VIII Easter Festival at the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire he performed the role of the Japanese Ambassador in the opera Le Rossignol, conducted by Valery Gergiev. In 2009 he made debuts at the Mariinsky Theatre with roles in  War and Peace, Idomeneo and The Gambler. As a soloist he also made his debut at the Concert Hall of in  War and Peace under Valery Gergiev.
Artyom Melikhov has been a prize-winner at several international competitions.
