Kirill Zharovin

Baritone

Prize-winner at the III International Boris Shtokolov Vocalists’ Competition (St Petersburg, 2012, 1st prize and a Special Award).

Kirill Zharovin was born in Minsk (Belarus). In 2000, he graduated from the Glinka Minsk State College of Music. In 2001–2005, he was a soloist for the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers. In 2007–2008, he interned at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus. In 2009–2012, he was a soloist for the Zazerkalie Theatre in St Petersburg. Since 2012, he has been a soloist for the St Petersburg Chamber Opera.

At the Mariinsky Theatre he made his debut in 2017 in Verdi’s opera I vespri siciliani as Monforte.
