Olesya Petrova

Аfter graduating from the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Musical College (in the studio of T. A. Serdiuk) Olesya was accepted into the Saint Petersburg Conservatory’s vocal department in the studio of I. P. Bogacheva, People’s Artist of the USSR.

In 2004 Olesya became a laureate at the 2nd All-Russian Competition “Three Centuries of Classical Romance” (Saint Petersburg). O. Petrova was the 2003–2004 “Hope of Russia” scholarship winner. She performs actively in Saint Petersburg and other cities throughout Russia. She has toured in France, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Norway and Italy.

In 2007 she won the 13th International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow
