Varvara Yegorova

Costume Designer

Graduated from the N. K. Roerich St Petersburg College of Art (2004). Participant in the Presidential Administration's Exhibition of Young Artists. Awarded the Young Talents prize by the Administration of St Petersburg. Currently studying in her fourth year at the St Petersburg Academy of Theatrical Art, Faculty of Production, as a production designer for musical theatre (under Vyacheslav Okunev), awarded an N. P. Akimov Scholarship. In 2005, she worked as a set painter at the Mariinsky Theatre. Madam Butterfly, The Magic Nut, Il viaggio a Reims are among the plays that Varvara has worked on. Her work for Rimsky-Korsakov's Christmas Eve marks her debut in professional theatre.
