Violin soloist

Winner of international violin competitions in 2010 in Indianapolis, Sendai (Japan), UNISA (South Africa), Oistrakh and Paganini (Moscow), 24-year-old Russian violinist certainly claim to be one of the leading violinists of his generation.

Since its debut in 2005 in the Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra with the Philharmonic under V.Petrenko Rams played at world renowned venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Great Hall of the Mozarteum, Circle Theatre in Beijing, Cadogan Hall in London and the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow.

His recent and upcoming tours include Russia, South Africa, Turkey, France, Germany, the U.S. and Asia.

In 2010, there were two drive his recordings: a solo program - as part of the prize Romance Switzerland Orchestra (Orchestre de la Suisse Romande) in recognition of his achievements, as well as recording Tchaikovsky concerto with the Symphony Orchestra of Hof (Germany) under Arna Gerke .

 Many performances have been broadcast on radio Baranova - on BR Klassik (Germany), Radio Orpheus, YLE Radio (Finland), WFYI (U.S.), NHK Sendai (Japan).

Baranov performed with many internationally renowned orchestras such as the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia Sendai (Japan), the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (London), Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Orchestra, Quindao Symphony (China), under such conductors as Vasily Petrenko, Mark Kadin, Vladimir Sirenko, Yuri Gilbo, Johann Vildner David ROCS and Katsumi Yamashita.

In 2008, the Rams won the first prize at the International Violin Competition of Benjamin Britten in London and the International Violin Competition in Germany G.Marto. In addition, he won New Master on Tour 'in the Netherlands and the prize "Summer Academy" Mozarteum in Salzburg.

In 2009, at the age of 23 years, Baranov was appointed assistant professor Pierre Amoyalya in the Lausanne Conservatory.

Sheep is also a leading violinist of the ensemble "Camerata de Lausanne" under Pierre Amoyalya, which often tours to different continents.

Born into a musical family in St. Petersburg in 1986, the Rams began playing the violin at the age of 5 years. He studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory V.Ovchareka, P.Popova and at the Conservatory of Lausanne in P.Amoyalya also took master classes with Spider Kushnir, Isakadze Kashkashyan and many others.
