Prize-winner at All-Russian and international competitions.

Born in the Krasnodar Krai. After graduating from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Professor Novichenko), she joined the St Petersburg Chamber Opera Company. She then trained at the Graz Opera School (Austria) in addition to taking master classes with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Mirella Freni and Diego Crovetti. In 2000 she made her debut at the Salzburg Festival together with such singers as Thomas Hampson, Susan Graham and Paul Groves under maestro Bolton. Performs throughout Germany at theatres including the Theater Dortmund, Staatstheater Nurnberg, Staatstheater Bonn, Staatstheater Freiburg, Oldenburgisches Staatstheater, Staatstheater Kassel, Staatstheater Weimar and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Dusseldorf.

Currently engaged as a soloist at the Theater Dortmund. Guest soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre since 2006, where she made her debut as Lady Macbeth in Verdi?s Macbeth.
She has made radio and television recordings.

Repertoire includes: Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Lisa (The Queen of Spades), Maria (Maria Stuarda), Abigaille (Nabucco), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Leonora (La forza del destino), Luisa (Luisa Miller), Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly), Turandot, Liu (Turandot), Rosina (Le nozze di Figaro), Donna Anna, Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Freia (Das Rheingold), Sieglinde (Die Walkure), Eva (Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg), Jenufa (Jenufa), as well as the soprano parts in Verdi?s Requiem, Beethoven?s Ninth Symphony.
