Ivan Kozlov

Prize-winner at the X International Ballet Soloists‘ Competition in Moscow (2005).
Diploma-recipient at the VI International Serge Lifar Competition in Kiev (2006).

Born in Kiev (Ukraine).
In 2000 he graduated from the Kiev State School of Dance (class of Vladimir Denisenko) and was engaged the same year as a soloist with the St Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre directed by Boris Eifman.

From 2002-2004 he was a guest soloist with International Ballet Theatre (USA).
From 2004-2006 he was a soloist with the National Opera of Ukraine Ballet Company.
In 2006 he returned to Boris Eifman‘s St Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre.
In 2007 he was invited to join the Mariinsky Ballet Company, making his debut as Siegfried in Swan Lake.

Performed at the VIII Ballet Stars International Festival in Jurmala (Boris Eifman?s Tsarevich Pavel) and at the Golden Mask in Latvia festival (Karenin in Boris Eifman‘s Anna Karenina).
In May 2007 he took part in the gala concert Stars of the Benois de la Danse – Prize-Winners over the Years at the Bolshoi Theatre, performing alongside Ulyana Lopatkina in Roland Petit‘s miniature La Rose malade. In June 2007 at the Bolshoi Theatre he took part in a performance of Carmen Suite (Jose).
