Recipient of the silver medal at the International exhibition of stage design Prague Quadrennial (1995).
Recipient of Russia?s theatre prize the Golden Mask (2005).
Recipient of the Golden Sofit (2004).

Graduated from the Byelorussian Academy of Arts in 1982. Was engaged as the principal designer with the Byelorussian Youth Theatre and has designed productions for the Moscow Russian Army Theatre (The Winded Horse) and St Petersburg?s Grand Drama Theatre (Les Caprices de Marianne, Californian Suite and The Dresser).
From 1998 to 2000, was the principal designer with the St Petersburg Chamber Opera Company, where he designed productions including Die Weise von Liebe und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke and The Queen of Spades.
Among his most recent works are Boris Godunov (National Academic Opera Theatre of the Republic of Byelorussia, 2001), the musical Nord-Ost (Moscow, 2002), Le Boulevard du Crime (Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theatre, 2003), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rostov Musical Theatre, 2003), Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Rostov Musical Theatre, 2004) and The Rape of Lucretia (St Petersburg Chamber Opera, 2004).
His works for the Mariinsky Theatre: The Nose (2004), The Tsar?s Bride, with Dmitry Chernyakov - Tristan und Isolde (2005).
