Conductor
After graduating from the Specialised Secondary School of the St Petersburg Conservatoire in 1991 (trombone, class of Georgy Strautman) he continued his studies at the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (trombone, class of lecturer B. Vinogradov and Professor Sumerkin). In autumn 1991 he joined the Mariinsky Theatre as a Stage Orchestra musician, entering the Symphony Orchestra in 1996 (trombones). Established the Grand Brass Ensemble with which he has appeared as a conductor at concerts in the dress circle foyer of the Mariinsky Theatre. Valery Gergiev invited him to conduct Donvena Pandourskyґs versions of the ballets Le sacre du printemps and The Magic Nut.
Conductor of the Mariinsky Theatre Stage Orchestra since 2007.
