The Mariinsky Theatre branch in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania invites its beloved audience to a choreographic performance staged by the famous Lithuanian choreographer Anzhelika Kholina. This is an amazingly bright and spectacular production that tells the love story of the soldier Jose and the fatal gypsy Carmen. Carmen is passionate, independent, ardent, capable of inspired love and being unapproachable, flaring up like fire with bright emotional manifestations. Every woman is evil; but she can be good twice - either on the bed of love, or on her deathbed. The performance opens with a picturesque dance pattern that you hear, see and feel. From the very first minute, a Spanish entourage is created on the stage: in clothes, colors and even in tobacco smoke. The main character is dance. Dance in love, hate, contempt, struggle, fun, death. The relief of the choreography is impressive. Young talented artists of the ballet troupe under the professional leadership of the chief choreographer of the Mariinsky Theatre branch Valery Suanov captivate with their plastic "language", embodying emotional elements in their highest manifestation. High-quality, stylish, consistent, professional in everything - choreography, scenography, costumes.
