Even in the worlds' best concert halls and opera houses, the listening conditions can vary greatly, and some seats are better than others. Sometimes nearby seats has very different viewing and listening conditions. Best ballet or opera experience needs the best acoustics. We have tested the sounding both for opera and ballet for all the seats in the Mariinsky with the acoustic experts, in the Main and New Stages and in the Concert Hall.

Mariinsky is closed for annual vacation from 12 August 2024 till 01 September 2024.
During this time, Mariinsky Ballet and Mariinsky Opera will not perform in Russia.
Mariinsky Theatre buildings will be closed and not available for any visit.
We would recommend you to visit other Ballet and Opera theatres in St. Petersburg.
Or leave your contacts and we will advise you the venue in Saint-Petersburg where the Mariinsky dancers and opera singers will perform during this time.
