International competition prize-winner. Graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 1993. Has performed as a soloist with the St Petersburg Chamber Opera Company and the Zazerkalye Children‘s Music Theatre. Mariinsky Theatre soloist since 2004. Made his debut in Rimsky-Korsakov‘s Sadko as Apparition.
Repertoire includes: Streshnev (Khovanshchina), Apparition (Sadko), Count Lerma, The Royal Herolf (Don Carlo), the Bonze (Madama Butterfly), King‘s herald (Lohengrin), Steersman (Tristan und Isolde), Sciarrone (Tosca).
