Born in 1978 in Nizhny Novgorod, in 2004 he graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory (class of A.Sedov). After graduating from the Conservatory he worked at the Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 2004, he joined the Mikhailovsky Opera Company.

His repertory includes over dozen of roles in operas by Verdi, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov
