Choreographer

Graduated from the Leningrad Region College of Culture and Art as a teacher of choreography in 2002. In 2007 gained a diploma with merit in the Art of Choreography from the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatoire (Class of Professor Alexander Polubentsev, Honoured Figure of Russian Art).

Since 2003, Nadezhda Kalinina has worked with Intellbalet dance company (choreographer - Larisa Ivanova), and choreographed concerts for the I. O. Dunaevskiy Song and Dance Ensemble of the St Petersburg Palace of Youth Art (Leader - G. M. Livanova, Honoured Cultural Worker of Russia). She has worked as Director of Choreography in the following productions: Of Human Bondage (Director - Yuri Smirnov-Nesvitsky, Saturday Theatre, St Petersburg, 2004), the operas Christmas Eve and Rigoletto (Director - Olga Malikova, Voronezh Theatre of Opera and Ballet, 2007), and the musicals Diva (Director - Anton Zabelin, Music Hall, St Petersburg, 2007) and The Tender King (Director - Anton Zabelin, Music Hall, St Petersburg, premiere December 2008).
