Prize-winner at the International Rosa Ponsel Vocalists? Competition (1st prize, 1992).

Born in Krasnodar. Graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 1990 (vocal class of Professor Novichenko).

Mariinsky Theatre soloist since 1990.

Repertoire includes:
Lyudmila (Ruslan and Lyudmila),
Parassia (Sorochinsky Fair),
Tatiana (Eugene Onegin),
Volkhova (Sadko),
Fevronia (The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh and the Maiden Fevronia),
Tsarevna (Kashchei the Deathless),
Leonora (Il trovatore),
Priestess (Aida)
and the First Lady (Die Zauberflote).

Her concert repertoire includes such works as Verdi`s Requiem, Beethoven`s Ninth Symphony, Dvorjak`s Stabat Mater and songs and romances by Russian and western composers.

Has toured with the Mariinsky Theatre to Germany, France, Italy, the USA, Scotland, Finland, the Netherlands and Israel.
