Maxim MOGILEVSKy is one of the latest pupils of the Moscow pedagogue A.Sumbaltyan, who has educated many wonderful pianists. At the age of 13 made his debut at philharmonic stage, playing with The Moscow Philharmonic orchestra under D.Kitaenko conducting. He has graduated The State Moscow Conservatory and finished study course under prof. L.Naumov leading.
Maxim Mogilevsky is the laureate of international competitions in Japan (1989), South Africa (1992), Portugal (1995). As a participant of festivals and with his own concerts performed in France, Portugal, Russia, Belgium, Spain, also in Japan, USA, South Korea and Australia. Since 1992 he is an assistant of Indiana University professor – A.Toradze. In Edinburgh Mogilevsky was honoured the “Angel Awards” prize.
Combines his work in Indiana University with the position of the invited professor of The Ohio Conservatory (since 1996).
