Pavel Popov was borne in 1975 in Novosibirsk, in the family of musicians. Since 1982 it learned in SSMSH of Leningrad conservatory (class L.Ivashchenko), from 1993 - in the St. Petersburg conservatory (from 1995 - in V.Ovchareka). It were improved in the highest musical school in Gayldkholle. Laureate of the All-Russian competition of violinists (Saratov, of 1997), international competitions "Virtuosos-2000" (in the composition "Virtuoso-quintet", Moscow, 1993) and the chamber ensembles of the name of V.Bellini (in the composition of trio "Victoria", Kal‘tanissetta, 1999), All-Russian festival of the stars of classical music "classics from Davidoff" (2000). Grant-aided student of All-German Wagner society (1996), the laureate of the reward of the President of Russia (2002). Regularly it gives concerts since 1990. In 1991 it made a debut with the orchestra, into 1995 for the first time it came out in the large hall of philharmonic society. In the composition of the fortepiannogo trio "Victoria" it came out on the best concert areas of Russia, Germany, USA, Spain, Austria. It came out with the symphonic orchestras under the administration of O.Dimitriadi, M.Rostropovicha, Yu.Temirkanova, V.Gergiyeva, M.Gorenshteyna, R.Martynova, E.Serova, V.Chernushenko. It has records on the radio. It teaches in the St. Petersburg conservatory, master-classes in Russia, Finland, France, USA are carried out.
