Katia Duflot

Costume Designer

Born in Paris. First worked as a theatre costume designer in 1986 for a production of Macbeth, directed by Jacques Karpo at the Opera de Marseilles. Has since designed costumes at the Opera de Marseilles for productions of the operas Les Troyens (1990), Dialogues des carmelites (1988), Pelleas et Melisande (1990), Don Juan de Manara and I Puritani (1991), Katia Kabanova (1992), Die Frau ohne Schatten and L?incoronazione di Poppea (1993), Salome (1994), I Capuletti ed i Montecchi (1995) and, more recently, Ernani, Madama Butterfly and Ariadne auf Naxos.
Has worked on productions in Orange (Aida, Turandot, Norma and Don Carlos), the Arena di Verona (Rigoletto), the Forum Grimaldi in Monaco (Nabucco), the Opera de Marseilles ( Elektra ) and Nabucco in Parma.
